Rasputen is available to the purrfect home! He is still estimated to being about 50% blind but can see shadows/objects just not very well. This is a great improvement. He has upgraded out of a crate and now into a small room and doing fantastic! He is still cautious of his surroundings but doing very well with new things. New people can be scary at first but he does love being pet.
He is good with cats but nervous with loud or energetic dogs still.
He would probably need a smaller room to acclimate before being introduced into the whole house so he can find food/water/litter box easily in the beginning.
Have you heard his back story?
This guy came to us a 1 year old FERAL (And we mean feral) who just went under anesthesia for his neuter surgery. While under he experienced some complications and woke up blind! On top of that he also had an upper respiratory infection so he couldn't see or smell his food/water/litter box!.... He had to be syringe fed every day as well as given subcutaneous fluids twice a day AND medications. Do remember this guy was FERAL. He wanted nothing to do with us and all of our stuff to make him feel better; all he wanted was to get away but he didn't know how.
He is now totally recovered from his upper respiratory infection and learning to love people.
Please give this guy a chance! He has had a very rough life but its looking up for him now! Who can help this poor guy with a forever home?!

Meet Trikru!
Trikru came to us as a very nervous and sickly kitten. She is still on medications for her various issues but will be ready to go once she is off them.
Since coming here she realized people are awesome and LOVES to be pet and purrs often. She LOVES other cats too - any cat who will give her attention she is seeking them out.

Meet Vada!!
This very pretty tall and lanky girl is absolutely beautiful. She loves to play and cats are totally awesome. (dogs are still scary). Vada can be quite nervous when meeting new people and ideally its best to spend some time getting to know her before expecting much from her. She is known for the typical "angry cat" stare - ears back, eyes wide, terrified look. She has an initial shock when meeting new people. Give her time though and she comes out of her shell - especially for fun toys - like feathers!
Vada would do best in a home with ideally one other cat to keep her playful side occupied.

This is Valka.Valka is a very interesting kitty. She came to us as a 6 month old who only weighed 3 pounds! She is a very petite little girl who is a little older than 6 months but still only 4#!! She probably won't get much larger than 6 pounds as an adult. If you wanted a forever kitten this is your gal! She has very pretty colors and loves to play. Cats are her favorite though as people can still be scary. Her past is unknown other than the previous shelter could not work with her in their foster program. She has made HUGE strides here learning to trust and acting like any normal kitten.Give her a chance and you will see. She is a wonderful kitten who just needs to trust you first.

She does not like being confined and will cry when in a cage or crate - she wants out to run around and be a kitten!!! Meet Stryder!

Stryder came to us as a very crazy outdoor barn cat set for our barn cat program. After escaping his crate (was not properly put together!!!) in our car on the interstate, with our dog!, and crawling into my lap... we became best friends. We assumed it was just a fluke that he was nice after hearing how crazy he was at the shelter.He came here and after a few short weeks we realized this guy has no purpose being outside! He is a LOVER!!! He came very matted and we were able to brush out all his mats on his back, tail, and belly! He just sat there like a good boy.This cat demands attention at all times!!! He doesnt mind his foster families large dog either and gets along with all the kitties he has met.This is a wonderful cat that should not be passed up. He needs the perfect home!

Susie came to us after her owner died. She is missing most of her teeth and had to have the rest of them removed as they were very diseased. She is a happy gal and loves calm people to give her attention and pet her. She is ok with some cats too. Susie is a total needy cat. She is your shadow and wants to be with you 24/7. She prefers to be the only pet but does tolerate others ok but she is an attention hog!!! Who needs a wonderful old gal to give her the best life she can have for her remaining years?!

My name is Luka. I am one big chunk of cat. I was too scared at the shelter and was showing aggressive behaviors so I was going to be put down. Turns out I actually just had a very painful paw! It had abscessed and was bleeding and nasty. I am very good for my medication and don't mind getting my foot soaked either. I am a shy guy though so I will have to trust you before we are cool but I do like people. I do like cats too - but am selective. If they like me right away then great but I am not a fan if they are mean to me as I will throw my weight around too! I currently like only well behaved dogs. 

I am currently all healed from my wounds and looking for a forever home! I was previously a barn cat but I think indoor life is pretty cool now and prefer to be indoors. Can you give me a great home!?

Kekoa is the brother to Katara and Kiara. While his sisters learned that people bring food and good things - Kekoa is a slow learner and not so fast to trust. He is great with people that he knows and purrs often and loves to play with toys! New people though can be scary so don't be offended if he hides from you! He will learn!

Meet Nadimir!

This sweet but shy guy is looking for his forever family! He came to us from another rescue who couldn't see his potential. Though he can be shy he is very tolerant and allows petting and being held for lengths of time. He isn't as quick to purr as his brother but he will normally pretty fast. He is still shy when he is in a large room so it would be best to keep him in a bedroom for a little bit until he knows you. Nadimir loves other cats too! Who can resist his cute face!?

Meet Jahanara! 

She came to us from another shelter who was going to put her down due to being "aggressive". She was live trapped with a large wound on her face- very painful I am sure. She was then transferred to us where she recovered the rest of the way. This cat though is a LOVER! she loves other people, other cats, she is wonderful. Meet Ezykiel!This wonderful guy was supposed to be an outdoor cat and put into our barn cat program. He decided that wasn't the life he wanted anymore. We moved him into his enclosure for barn cats and he immediately walked up to his caretaker and began rubbing on her leg. He started purring and wanting attention. This went on for a few days before deciding this guy was going to be placed into a home!He loves home and indoor life too! Sure it was scary being somewhere new for the first few days but its great after that! He does like people though new people he can be shy still. Cats are really cool too! He haven't met any dogs yet so unsure how he would react but who wouldn't want this lover?!Almost instant purring machine when pet (by someone he is familiar with others takes a little time)!! My name is Ander. I haven't had a great start to life. I was brought into a different rescue when I was younger but was nervous around people then. My foster home was scared of me and didn't help me learn to trust anyone. I had a few years of just basement living and eating all I could eat to occupy my time. I am a big guy now who doesn't know what is socially acceptable to being a cat. I am not mean but am VERY scared of anything new. I am learning to trust but this will take time and my new owner must be prepared to continue to help me progress into a great guy.  I am GREAT with other cats and really should go to a home with another cat. My name is Asha and I have some medical issues I would like to mention. I used to sound like a pug! I had an ear polyp that made me breathe different. I had surgery (Again) to try to remove it but there is always the chance it may grow back. The first time I was too small to get everything out. This time we got a HUGE polyp out! I can now breathe GREAT but I do still have some nerve damage from getting the polyp out. This doesn't stop me from being awesome though!
