Adoption Process
Adoption Information:
If you are interested in adopting one of our cats please fill out an adoption application.
Once we have received your application we will review it. This can take up to 1 week.
Once you submit your application, please call your vet and notify them that a representative from our rescue will be calling.
If your application is approved we can schedule a meet and greet with the cat you are looking to adopt.
All cats are in foster homes so a scheduled meeting is required for pick up. We normally do not deliver cats.
Please note that if you do not show up to the meet and greet that was scheduled, you forfeit your application. We need at least 24 hours notice for changing the day/time. If an emergency comes up, please contact us as soon as you know.
Bring a carrier and the adoption fees with if you are planning on adopting the cat at the meet and greet. The foster home does have the final say though on if you can adopt the cat.

We accept Cash and Checks only at this time.
Fees:
Kitten adoption (single kitten) - Less than 6 months old: $150
Kitten adoption (single kitten) - Older than 6 months: $100
Hidden treasure adoption (single kitten): $80
Kitten adoption (two kittens): $200 - $250
Kitten adoption (two hidden treasure kittens): $100
Adult cat adoption (Greater than 1 year old): $50
Barn cat adoption: $50
Each cat is current on age appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia negative, spayed/neutered, and dewormed before leaving us.
Most cats are ear tipped and microchipped as well.
All cats are on revolution (Flea, Heartworm, and ear mite prevention) during their stay with us.

Why adopt from us?
At Pawprints on our Hearts we strive to get these cats the best care they deserve. That doesn't just mean an exam or vaccine. We want all of our cats to have the best outcome possible.
All cats are current on age appropriate vaccines, feline leukemia and feline aids tested negative, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea prevention prior to leaving us. Most cats have been examined by our vet at least once but all cats have been examined at time of surgery.
